Permit Procedures

Basic Requirements

If your building requires an accessory structure building permit certain information about your property will be required. Below is a list of basic requirements your permitting agency (county, city, etc...) should provide you.

Zoning Requirements

1. Setbacks
   This is the distance required that your building be built from your property lines, house, well, septic, other buildings on your property.
2. Snow Load, Exposure level Elevation and your exposure to the wind will determine those factors.
